The Racing Bug Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

By making a booking with The Racing Bug, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. Please ensure you read and understand these conditions before proceeding with your booking.

2. Cancellations & Late Arrivals

We kindly ask that you arrive on time for your scheduled booking. Should you anticipate being late, please notify us at your earliest convenience.

• If you arrive late, we will make every effort to accommodate your activity within the remaining time of your booking slot. However, beyond this, we cannot guarantee further accommodations for latecomers.
• No credit or refunds will be issued for late arrivals or last-minute cancellations.
• All bookings are non-cancellable and non-refundable. However, you may amend your booking up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled time subject to availability and a £29 admin fee.

3. Bookings

All bookings are conditional upon the type of event and are also subject to the general Terms and Conditions of the venue at which the booking is made and held, as well as any relevant licensing laws. The management reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking due to health and safety, licensing, or other operational reasons. We will not be held liable for any costs incurred as a result of such cancellations.

• In the event of unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the booking, we reserve the right to cancel. In such cases, we will either offer a full refund or reschedule the booking to a mutually agreeable date.
• Bookings are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• For private hires, deposits will also serve as a damage deposit. Should any damage occur that exceeds the value of the deposit, we reserve the right to seek reimbursement for the full amount of the damages, including cleaning costs where applicable.
• In the case of disruptive behaviour or violation of these Terms and Conditions, the management reserves the right to terminate any event without liability for incurred costs. We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding inappropriate conduct.

4. Alcohol and Licensing Policies

• We reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol to any individual we deem intoxicated or unfit to consume alcohol.
• All alcoholic beverages must be consumed on the premises.
• We operate a strict over-18 policy, and all guests are required to present valid identification upon entry. The only acceptable forms of ID are UK driving licences or passports. No entry will be granted without appropriate identification, and no refunds will be provided in such cases.
• The organiser of the event is responsible for ensuring all guests are aware of this ID policy.
• Admission may be refused at the discretion of the management for any legitimate reason.

5. Food & Drink Policy

• It is strictly prohibited to bring any food or beverages, whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic, onto the premises. This policy is enforced for legal, health, and safety reasons. We recommend that event organisers inform their guests of this policy in advance. Any guests found in violation of this policy may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

6. Premises and Conduct

• Our licensing hours are fixed and cannot be extended under any circumstances. Guests are required to vacate the premises promptly at the end of the scheduled hours.
• We enforce a dress code that prohibits hoodies and sportswear. We reserve the right to refuse entry on this basis.
• Last entry is at 11:00 pm on weekdays and 1:00 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Guests may be subject to searches upon entry, conducted by certified security personnel.
• We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding drug use. Any individuals found in possession of or using drugs will be ejected from the premises and reported to the police.
• Any intoxicated guests may be removed from the premises at the discretion of the management.

7. Liability

• The Racing Bug cannot and will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings.
• We comply fully with all applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.

By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

8. Data Processing

By making a booking with The Racing Bug, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
